Ruggiero Trash & Recycling comes from a family with more than 40 years in the trash hauling and recycling services. Three generations of Ruggiero’s worked together to meet the recycling and trash needs of Southern Vermont and New Hampshire for both commercial and residential customers. As long-term members of the community, they are invested in providing quality services.

Area Waste Services was one of the first trash companies opened by the Ruggiero’s in VT back in 1983, where four brothers and their parents started their journey in the twin states. Since then, All Waste Services and Twin State Trash have been run by the Ruggiero brothers. In 2001, Twin State Trash was run with four employees who consistently satisfied hundreds of customers and town contracts. In 2008, Ruggiero Trash & Recycling was created with three brothers and a son and has grown tremendously ever since. With tight connections within the community and friendly local services, Ruggiero Trash & Recycling has expanded to thousands of customers and multiple town contracts. Ruggiero Processing Facility opened in 2014 and has been growing over the last few years. This facility allows for the safe and proper handling and recycling of a wide variety of trash.

Ruggiero Trash & Recycling offers curbside services as well as containers ranging from 2 to 40 yards. We pride ourselves on being reasonable and straightforward. We do NOT burden our customers with diesel surcharges, rental fees, or hidden costs. Our service speaks for itself, but the relationships we have with our customers and community are what we take pride in the most. We are dedicated to keeping costs low while providing the highest quality services to keep our community clean.
